Hand moved from Cherry Hill, New Jersey (where he was a first-team all-state offensive and defensive playmaker) to Waco, Texas, for his initial college experience. He started nine of 12 games played for Baylor and led the team with eight pass breakups (also posting 42 tackles and one interception) as a true freshman to earn honorable mention All-Big 12 honors. Nagging injuries limited him to four starts in 10 games (13 tackles, three pass breakups) the following year, however. Hand transferred to Temple for family reasons, leading the NCAA to give him immediate eligibility. He started 12 games for the Owls in 2019 (59 tackles, four for loss, a team-high three interceptions, five pass breakups) and chose not to play in the team's bowl game to prepare for the draft. - NFL.com
