Vikings Postgame Report: Vikings Pluck The Patriots, Win 33-26 On Thanksgiving Night | NE | Week 12
Welcome to the Thanksgiving edition of the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings beat the New England Patriots 33-26 at U.S. Bank Stadium, in a back-and-forth affair. Justin Jefferson did what he does and broke another record tonight. Justin passed Randy Moss' NFL record for the most yards by a receiver in the first 3 years of a career (4,186 total yards). Justin finished the game with 9 receptions, 139 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kirk Cousins finished his night completing 30 of 37 tosses, 299 yards passing, and threw touchdown passes to T.J. Hockenson, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen. Thielen moved up to 3rd all time in Vikings history with his 52nd receiving touchdown of his career. Defensively, Russ Blacklock, Jordan Hicks, and Danielle Hunter all recorded sacks on Mac Jones. All three phases of the game did work, as Kene Nwangwu hit his 3rd kick return TD of his career, running a for 97-yard kickoff in the 3rd quarter for pay dirt. The Vikings improve to 9-2 and look forward to a long weekend before facing the Jets on Dec. 4th at U.S. Bank Stadium.
