Vikings Postgame Report: The Vikings fall 17-7 to the 49ers in preseason game #2.

Welcome back once again to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Vikings lost preseason game #2 at U.S Bank Stadium on Saturday night to the San Francisco 49ers, 17-7.  Vikings Running back Ty Chandler punched in a 3-yard touchdown and provided the Vikings only score of the evening. Vikings Defensive Tackle Ty McGill notched 1.5 sacks and 4 QB Hits on the evening, but 49ers QB's Nate Sudfeld and Brock Purdy combined their efforts to lead San Francisco to a 17-7 victory. Head Coach Kevin O'Connell in his post-game press conference gave his thoughts on the team's play tonight and what needs to happen for this team to have success moving forward. Gabe Henderson, Ben Leber and Pete Bercich discuss what they saw from QB Kellen Mond in his second effort, debate the value of the fullback position in this offense, review the play of DT TY McGill, look at some of the depth battles going on before roster cuts take place, and look ahead to preseason game #3 versus the Denver Broncos.
