Minnesota High School Girls Flag Football
Building on a successful partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools to pilot a middle school girls flag football program in 2022, the initiative expanded to include eight school districts by 2024. That same year, a high school pilot program laid the groundwork for the launch of Minnesota's first official high school girls flag football league in 2025, in collaboration with 51 participating schools.
This growing movement continues to empower young athletes and expand opportunities for girls across the state to compete, connect, and thrive through flag football.
